And so this is Friday and what have we learned?
Tomorrow at midday the polls close for our local elections and the present-opening begins. What will we be unwrapping? The gift of some decent and forward-looking people like Efeso Collins and Tory Whanau? Or something more dismal along the lines of Mr Wayne Brown and Mr Phil Mauger and a voucher for socks and a card attached reading suck one, losers?
Our choice of leaders is a reflection of ourselves. Maybe we’re better looking than social media and the comment sections suggest. Hope so.
