Election 2026

Election 2026

The superficially reasonable David Seymour has been back on his bullshit misrepresenting our colonisation history and the work that's been done to rectify it. This time around it's the Waitangi Tribunal he has in his sights.

Among other things, he's making the argument that it's very expensive to run. This is an argument guaranteed to resonate strongly with Drunk Uncle Kevin types who hear any large number and reflexively say well let's cut it then.

So when David Seymour taps their knee with his little propaganda mallet, their leg just swings up in response, even though they have no idea how little difference that amount money makes to things.
