Until a week or so ago it was a canal boat in France that he was restoring, in between taking photos of baguettes and croissants and scenery; now he’s back in Hamilton putting up solar panels to run a laundry and heat pump which he hopes to do for a couple of grand.
But the one that really got me inspired began in Charles de Gaulle airport where he unpacked his luggage and reassembled it as a working e-bike that he then rode to the other end of France.
