Spare a thought for the nation’s Newspaper of Record.
There are only five million of us here in tiny Aotearoa, and few of us can string together a sentence, let alone make it sound interesting. Even fewer can come up with an original thought or insight.
Pity a newspaper, then, that must find a dozen or so columns each day to fill the gaps between ads for SUVs, million dollar houses, and Harvey Norman.
