Come on, ol mate Grabaseat

And so this is Friday and what have we learned?

The great red tide of votes that came washing over Parliament last year is receding now. The middle that would usually vote for someone like John Key has told the pollsters they want to vote for someone like John Key again. Seems they’re not all that fussy. Yes it’s a Rolex, but you’re in a Bangkok market, and it’s going for 30 bucks.

Never mind how lacklustre this Luxon is, he’s clearly saying what they want to hear. Out they come, the collection of myths that only exist in the retelling, like: this is the party that knows how to run things.
