On the radio they’re talking about horror in the supermarket and three guesses where I’m headed right now, with my New World bag. What I should fear most is not a violent stranger but me, forgetting to stay under my 5kg limit. Glad for everyone in the Dunedin yesterday that it wasn't worse, glad that what happened was very far from usual or expected. Hope things stay that way.
Also I'm thinking, as I walk, that if a stranger were to lunge at me with a knife the odds of my grasping, in the moment, what was happening might not be that good.
