There are half a million or so special votes still to be counted. Until then we won't in fact know where we stand, government-wise, prime minister-wise, back-on-track-with-tax-cuts-and-oil-drilling-and-live-animal-exports-wise.
This has not stopped people from generally concluding that there will be a National-led government and a Prime Minister Luxon.
Just as an aside, can we take a moment to consider the colossal hubris, the audacity of the putative Prime Minister actually saying during the campaign that he would be restoring the reputation of our nation overseas?
