One might think, god, people who are seeing all this must be regretting their vote.

But one might be mistaken.

There are people whose chief priority is not wanting to be bothered about other people’s problems. And they would prefer the government not be bothered either. They’re comfortable, or very comfortable, or extremely comfortable and they’ll thank you to run along now.
