And so this is Friday and what have we learned?
There are two kinds of people being exasperating about this pandemic: the impatient Steven Joyce Mike Hosking type wishing to know why the usual rules of business class do not apply and wanting things back to normal ASAP. And then there are the utter disbelievers. Some disbelieve for reasons that are sincere and swivel-eyed. Some disbelieve for reasons that are just swivel-eyed because they really like the way their eyes feel when they’re swivelling.
The noise will keep up and all the while more of us will get vaccinated and if our border holds and the river don’t rise, we should be looking pretty decent by the end of the year which is NOT THAT LONG IT REALLY ISN’T no matter what Mike wants you to believe.
