We’re an hour away from the press conference but you just know where we’re going, all the way back to level 4. Karren has got out of her sickbed to go and get tested. Just in case. She reports from the scene.

We’re at the press conference and where we are going is all the way back to level 4, and this time it’s personal and a bit surreal.
Strange to hear the words a 58 year old Devonport man went to his GP yesterday afternoon to get a Covid test and think back to yesterday afternoon when you, a 58-ish year old Devonport man did that very thing, parked as requested outside the surgery, got swabbed by the Doctor in their full PPE kit.
Honestly if I had not this morning received a text from the NZ Govt saying hi Dave u r negative I might well have thought this whole lockdown was happening because of what had got up inside me.
