And so this is Thursday and what have we learned?
It’s been two days now since the solstice and isn’t it nice to feel the days getting longer again? There were midwinter swims last weekend and I looked at them and said yeah nah. But then yesterday someone who had seen me swimming last month offered me a wetsuit. Cheers David! My Octopus Teacher vision is not yet extinguished! I will press on.
But also my media is full of dismal people being dismal and I have been finding myself tuning out quite a bit. I’ll get back in the unkind water in due course and rejoin the tide. But some weeks you feel like it’s all just a bit much without a wetsuit.
