You can be all negative about these charter schools if you want, but I’m here to accentuate the positive.
You can get all worked up, if you want to, by the contradiction of Luxon saying We’re going to make sure that every school in the country is teaching exactly the same thing, and Seymour then getting up and saying We’re going to let these special schools teach whatever the hell they want. But I’m here to get all excited about it.
You can get all sad if you want to about free school lunches getting cut off at the knees because money is supposed to be scarce, only to see the charter schools get a whole new back office bureaucracy set up for them and any god’s amount of money for them. But I’m here to say, I’m juiced for it.
