A riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma, is how Winston Churchill described the Soviet Union in 1939. How might the great man have described the 2024 government of New Zealand, do we think? I can't imagine he would have thought them all that mysterious or enigmatic. I think he would merely have asked: Where ever did you find these people?
Today begins an occasional series that will answer that very question. I call it: Where ever do they find these people?
And to make it a bit more interesting I have sprinkled it with the sort of stuff we are now being routinely offered at press conferences, that is to say: completely made up.
