I liked what Kieran McAnulty had to say about the Treaty Principles bill this morning so much I've written it down and copied it out for you.
He was saying that rather than let this piece of ordure spend six months in Select Committee, the Prime Minister could stop making such imaginary handcuffs of the coalition deal and say:
This is divisive, it's going to bring out and enable all those people who have hate-filled views and we don't need that in this country. But he hasn't got the guts to do that. He's making excuses and I don't think it's good enough.
McAnulty is absolutely right.
