It was an innocent enough stumble. President Biden, a man who likes to play down his gathering years by moving briskly, miscued his step ascending the Air Force One stairs.
Down he went. But not all the way, because Joe Biden has spent a lifetime putting out a helping hand, and this one grabbed the safety rail.
It was a decent save.
