Hello from Masterton! We’re on the road for the last time before Mary-Margaret leaves the country, making some visits, saying some goodbyes.
I was going to write something about birdsong and dead elephants, but time and deadlines have come rushing up behind me and given me a fearful mugging. So instead I want to share with you something I wrote just before The Plague and which I realised was freshly topical when my mate Finlay suggested after Friday’s edition that it would have been good if you’d written a riff on Seymour making that joke at the airport.
