Christopher Luxon sort of explains stuff

Remember all the way back to just over a year ago when Judith Collins was still pop-up leader? Remember the phrase she would use to impute to the government the darkest of underhand bone-wearing gravy-train-provisioning separatist motives? She would say: He Puapua. It worked as a byword, a shorthand, a dog whistle for Maori getting their hands on even more of our stuff.

Never mind that the whole thing was giving effect to a UN report, as initiated by the previous National government, and never mind that the present government was very much keeping progress to nothing above walking pace.

But then along comes the new leader and it’s So long He Puapua, and Good morning Co-governance.
