It's to say the least demoralising to see this election go running after all the usual bunnies: the law and order, the tax cuts, the back on track tosh and all the rest of it, all the way down to the will he won't he pantomime of Winston Peters.
Now and then there will be a vague nod of the head to the small matter of a climate crisis, and oh well, that's all right then, just as long as we’ve noted something that threatens as much anguish and upheaval as a world war.
